Supplier requirenments - Europe
This page outlines the key requirements that all suppliers must meet to collaborate with Billerud in Europe. We are committed to responsible sourcing, sustainability, and high ethical standards - and we expect the same from our partners.
Whether you're beginning a new relationship with us or strengthening an existing one, here you'll find clear guidance on our expectations and the standards we uphold throughout our European supply chain.
F-tax (corporation tax)
Billerud will only engage Suppliers that are registered for F-tax and that report and pay taxes and fees. This also applies to companies engaged in turn by the Supplier, at all stages. The Supplier is responsible for ensuring that checks are carried out on all subcontractors. If so requested by Billerud, the Supplier shall present proof of registration for F-tax to Billerud.
Billerud supplier Code of Conduct
Suppliers to Billerud are required to undertake compliance with the Billerud Supplier Code of Conduct.
In addition, Billerud will, without affecting the rights and obligations arising from the Billerud Supplier Code of Conduct, ask our Suppliers to take part in an annual supplier evaluation performed by a third party (EcoVadis) engaged by Billerud. Suppliers are expected to take part in this assessment at their own expense. The result will be shared with both the supplier and Billerud, and may also be shared by the supplier with other stakeholders or business partners if desired.
Should the assessment reveal significant shortcomings, the supplier shall promptly present an action plan to address them. This plan will serve as the foundation for continued dialogue, follow-up evaluations, and the development of improvement measures.
Product and service quality
All products and services delivered to Billerud must meet agreed specifications and quality standards. Suppliers shall maintain traceability and provide relevant documentation upon request.
