Career company 2026
After a thorough review, Karriärföretagen annually selects Sweden’s most exciting companies to build a career with. Sweden’s 100 Career Companies have been chosen since 2011 to highlight employers that offer unique challenges and, through their genuine commitment to employees, are among the country’s leading employers.
Billerud has been named a Career Company every year since 2014. A certified Career Company is a Swedish quality mark for employers with the highest standards in employer branding and who can offer unique career and development opportunities to their employees. Thousands of companies are reviewed and evaluated based on career and development opportunities, employee engagement, international reach, internal and external employer brand, and much more.

We have been named Best Employer by 4potentials for the second year in a row – 2024 and 2025.
Each year, 4potentials conducts an extensive talent study, in which its 7,000 members participate in selecting the Talent Companies of the year. The award recognizes companies that, according to 4potentials and its members, successfully attract, develop and retain talent.
One of Sweden’s most attractive employers
When both Swedish engineering students and young professionals voted for their dream employer during 2018 Billerud was announced as one of Sweden´s most attractive employers. Until 2023, we are still one of Sweden’s 100 most attractive employers among undergraduate/graduate engineering students and young professionals according to the annual survey by the global employer branding agency Universum. A total of over 250 companies have participated in the two surveys, which has been completed by over 25,000 Swedish university and college students and 31 000 young professionals from different sectors.
Young Professional Attraction Index
Billerud has been chosen as one of the 100 most attractive employers by young professionals according to the survey Young Professional Attraction Index (YPAI) in 2023. This is for the seventh consecutive year. The survey has been conducted since 2015 by the staffing and recruitment company Academic Work, in close collaboration with Kantar Sifo. The latest survey had over 12,000 respondents.
