Hourly Production Worker (Wisconsin Rapids, WI)
Job description
Billerud Wisconsin Rapids Converting Facility is accepting applications for future production opportunities. Rate of pay starting at $26.92 per hour, plus shift differential. All openings are at 24/5 operations so candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, and a schedule that possibly includes weekends and holidays. Earn 5 days of vacation at 6 months and 2 weeks at 1 year, along with a great benefit plan.
Essential Job Functions Include the Following:
- Lifting heavy objects
- Climbing stairs and ladders
- Considerable amount of walking, reaching, and turning
- Reading and using measuring devices, including gauges and instrument dial
- Legible handwriting
- Performing basic math
- Performing data entry
- Understanding computer reports
- Comply to FDA standards and requirements
- Comprehending and following written and verbal procedures and policies
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Working shifts (6:30-2:30; 2:30-10:30; 10:30-6:30)
- Working overtime as business needs dictate
- Working all days of the week (operations are 24/5 with occasional weekends)
- Additional essential job functions are applicable to specific jobs.
Qualifications
Job requirements:
- Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly (maximum lifting up to 100 pounds may vary by location)
- Pushing/pulling carts of paper
- Climbing stairs and ladders
- Considerable amount of walking, reaching, and turning
- Obtain Company Power Industrial Truck Operator’s licenses
Personal qualities
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma, HSED, or GED
- Legible handwriting
- Perform basic math, data entry, and understand computer reports
- 2 years of work experience (manufacturing preferred)
