For our Global IT organisation and the IT Governance function, we are looking for a Global Information & Master Data Governance Expert to lead our global master data governance initiatives.
In this role you are responsible for leading data governance efforts for specific Global master data domains (e.g., material, business partner, BOM, routing, WorkCentre, etc.), ensuring high data quality, consistency, and compliance across our systems and processes. You will act as a subject matter expert for both the domain and the supporting Master Data Management (MDM) tooling, including maintaining and configuring workflows, rules, and reference data to support governance objectives. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and data maintenance teams to define standards, improve data quality, and maintain compliance with our corporate data governance policies.
Your main tasks will be:
- Data & Information Framework: Act as domain expert for master data, ensuring governance, defining standards, and providing guidance and training.
- Data Governance: Collaborate with IT and business units to align data architecture and lifecycle with governance goals, establish and monitor data quality KPIs, support defining and implementing master data processes and workflows, and support compliance through proper controls and traceability over master data.
- Data & Information Repository: Support the development of the enterprise data catalog and assist in configuring master data management automation tools.
- Business Collaboration: Collaborate with data owners, data management teams, and stakeholders to improve data quality and enforce governance policies, and facilitate governance forums to align decisions and communicate changes.
You reports to the Manager Global IT Information & Process Governance. This role is located in Solna, Stockholm Sweden and requires some international travel (5%).

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we believe you have:
- University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
- Solid experience in establishing and managing master data and information governance frameworks – preferably in a manufacturing and international context.
- Deep knowledge of ERP master data objects (preferably SAP S/4 HANA) including material, business partner, etc.
- Familiarity with MDM platforms and tools like SAP MDG
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principles.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; Swedish is a plus.
