Are you an HR Manager who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy combining operational excellence with long-term organizational development? We are now looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our mill management team and play a key role in driving our people agenda forward.
In this position, you will lead the local HR function, support business performance through strong people practices, and contribute to creating a healthy, safe, and sustainable workplace. You will have line management responsibility for two HR Business Partners and be a key member of both the Mill Management Team and Billerud Europe's HR Management Team network.
Your role
As HR Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the local HR agenda and lead a team of two HR Business Partners. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders while ensuring that HR priorities support both business objectives and our people strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting a healthy, safe, and sustainable working environment in collaboration with managers, employees, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Acting as an active member of the Mill Management Team and Billerud Europe's HR Management Team.
- Developing and strengthening performance management, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development processes.
- Building a culture of trust, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement through sustainable leadership.
- Managing and developing constructive relationships with union representatives and ensuring compliance with labor legislation and collective agreements.
- Monitoring HR metrics and people analytics to evaluate initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Leading the full HR agenda and coaching the local HR team in line with business and HR strategies, goals, and processes.
You will report to VP HR Europe.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who can navigate complex stakeholder environments and build strong relationships with managers, employees, and union representatives.
To succeed in this role, you have:
- A relevant university degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Several years of HR experience in a Senior HR Business Partner or HR Manager role within a commercial organization.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and developing HR professionals.
- Solid expertise across core HR processes, including performance management, talent development, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Extensive experience in Swedish labor law and union relations.
Demonstrated success in leading organizational development and change initiatives.
- Previous people management experience is considered an advantage
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
