We are now looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager for the Nordics. 

You will join our European Sales team within Cartonboard and be responsible for driving business and sales development in the Nordic market. In this role, you will maximize revenue and profitability while strengthening and expanding our customer base. 

As Sales Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organization and play a key role in building long-term customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across the value chain.

 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Maximize revenue and margin generation by turning the business offer into sales
  • Own and deliver on the sales budget for your customer portfolio
  • Establish and manage commercial agreements in line with company policy
  • Identify and develop the customer base within the Nordic market
  • Build, maintain and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Identify prospects and drive new business opportunities
  • Plan and execute activities to meet targets for volume, margin and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we believe you have: 

Need to have 

  • University degree in business, engineering or equivalent 
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales 
  • Strong negotiation skills in high-level commercial discussions 
  • Fluent English and Swedish, both written and spoken 
  • Knowledge of relevant market and competitors 

Nice to have

  • Technical and product knowledge within relevant industry
  • Experience working across the full value chain
  • Knowledge of market and competitors

Your ability to communicate clearly and confidently allows you to represent Billerud in both smaller customer dialogues and larger forums. 

You demonstrate an innovative and proactive approach in your way of working, contributing to developing sales strategies and strengthening our position in the market.
