We are now looking for a Senior Manager Sales Excellence to shape the future of Sales Capability and Commercial Excellence.
As the Senior Manager Sales Excellence, you will lead the Sales Excellence function across the entire Billerud Europe organization. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing innovative tools and frameworks to enhance our pricing management, sales capabilities, and go-to-market strategies. The position can be based at Billerud’s head office in Solna, Stockholm or any of our mills in Sweden (Skärblacka, Gruvön, Frövi, Gävle, Karlsborg).
Your main tasks will be:
- Pricing Management: Lead the Pricing Management function, identifying and capturing profit enhancement opportunities. Lead the development and implementation of the 'Target Pricing 2.0' initiative to optimize profitability.
- Sales Capability Development: Design and manage comprehensive sales capability programs across the organization, including e-learning modules, live training sessions, onboarding materials, and coaching tools to enhance team performance.
- Go-to-Market Activation: Develop and execute value-driven offerings, support critical negotiations, and create sales enablement tools that contribute to our commercial success.
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the 'Advance Commercial Excellence' initiative, driving strategic growth and continuously incorporating external best practices to elevate our sales operations.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we believe you have:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Commercial Excellence roles, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams in B2B sales.
- Strong understanding of managing both team goals and individual sales targets effectively.
- Exceptional skills in understanding customer needs and developing actionable joint business plans (Account plans) that benefit both suppliers and customers.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations.
- Expertise in developing and implementing pricing strategies and proficiency with CPQ tools.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly in creating clear and compelling presentations.
The following qualifications are considered meriting:
- Proficiency in CRM systems.
- Experience working in central functions within commercial roles.
- Hands-on P&L management experience for a country, business unit, or large accounts.
- Knowledge of commercial legal compliance.
- Familiarity with advanced sales methodologies, such as insight selling or challenger sales.
