Each year our mills require temporary staff for the summer period. This presents an excellent opportunity to build important contacts for the future. We process the applications for summer jobs during January and February.
Temporary jobs and work experience places vary in length from 2-10 weeks during May to August, depending on the assignment and the mill. Working hours can range from daytime, to continuous shifts or double shifts.
Areas where summer jobs are available include production, technical and mechanical maintenance, caretaker duties, purchasing, administration, warehouse and loading, production planning, logistics, engineering design and laboratory work. To be considered for a summer job you must be studying or have completed your studies and have an upper secondary school certificate. In some areas we only recruit people with relevant college qualifications.
Places for work experience are filled as required. If you have a suggestion for a work experience assignment you are welcome to send it directly to the mill.
Please note that you have to be 18 years old, have completed your studies at the Gymnasium or similar level of education and understand safety regulations in Swedish to be considered for a position with Billerud.
