Billerud´s products meet specific product safety requirements in many fields of application, such as food packaging. We test our products for purity and other product safety aspects. We monitor the chemicals and other additives in compliance with relevant food contact regulations on a regular basis. FDA, BfR and Eu Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 are examples of legal requirements that must be met in our work on product safety. All our mills are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Gruvön Mill is also hygiene certified according to BRC/IoP. In addition, our Swedish mills are FSC and PEFC certified.
