Billerud
Billerud has been active in setting up several vocational training programmes at various institutions across Sweden. One example is the advanced professional training programme in Kalix and Karlstad, and a process technology course at upper secondary level in Grums.

The advanced professional training programme in Kalix runs for two years and is for students who have completed their upper secondary education. They study process technology with a focus on the pulp and paper industry. One third of the programme is in the form of learning at work throughout the company.

The advanced professional training programme in Karlstad runs for four semesters with a focus on process technology, forrest industry. The Karlstad municipality together with the process industry in Värmland have developed the training. One third of the programme is in the form of learning at work throughout the company.
